Danish Jewelry Design

My name is Hanne Bernstein.

I am originally from Denmark and came to Brookline Massachusetts in 2000.

I have always loved to create beautiful things with my hands and have worked with textile, yarn and since 2007 with beads and wire.

Inspired by the shape and color of a piece of sea glass, a pearl or a piece of amber,  I wrap or encase the stone in sterling silver or gold wire.

I take great pleasure in the endless possibilities of forming metal wire and letting it interact with the stone.
